Sometimes the place you create for others comes from knowing how much you once needed that place yourself.. My journey to Garrett Collective started long before I ever thought about opening a Hair Play ASMR studio. When I moved to Waco from Las Vegas, I was at a point in my life where I needed a fresh start and a new direction. I connected with Lovely Village, an amazing local organization that supported me, encouraged me, and helped me begin getting my life back on the right path. They became an important part of my journey and showed me just how much having the right people and a safe, supportive environment can mean when you’re trying to rebuild.

Since then, life has brought plenty of challenges, changes, and moments when I’ve had to find my footing again. Through it all, I’ve learned how easy it is, especially as women, to spend so much time taking care of our families, our jobs, our homes, and everyone around us that we forget to make room for ourselves. Sometimes you don’t need another responsibility or another thing to accomplish. You just need somewhere you can sit down, close your eyes, quiet your mind, and be cared for for a little while.

That is the heart behind Garrett Collective. I wanted to create a beautiful, comfortable and judgment-free space where women can come exactly as they are and simply relax. Through gentle hair play, brushing, combing, soothing touch, and ASMR-inspired techniques, my goal is to give each woman a little escape from everything waiting for her outside the door. Whether you have 15 minutes or 45, that time belongs to you.

Garrett Collective means so much to me because I know firsthand what it feels like to need support, peace, and a place where you feel safe. Lovely Village was part of giving that to me during an important chapter of my own journey, and now I want to carry that feeling forward in my own way. If a woman walks through my door feeling overwhelmed by life and leaves feeling a little lighter, calmer, and more cared for, then Garrett Collective is doing exactly what I created it to do. 💗
